This emulator initially intended only for Age of Empires II HD to enable lobby features without depending on STEAM. With the NoSteam executable it is technically possible to completely remove Steam from your system and still play the game.This is a steam client emulator which enables you to play steam games without STEAM client and play online games or lobby enabled-games on LAN without any internet connection or online. If you do wish to use the same savegames in both versions, you will have to copy the "save" folder to the respective directories, as explained above. Hence why both exe files cannot share the same savegame folder. When not using Steam, there's no way to find out your Steam ID.
